Gammick Studios is a division of Gammick Entertainment S.L. (www.gammickentertainment.com) which is entirely devoted to the creation and development of videogames. We need to cover a Senior Artist’s vacancy for our Nintendo DS section.

A Senior Artist is a creative and an open-minded person, who will work under a Lead Artist direction.

Artistic talent (graphic design, image and sound composition, human anatomy, character’s movements, narrative…) Ability to work on character and different thematic background designs on paper (Concept art).
Great ability for videogames graphic design, demonstrable with published videogames, good documentary evidence and references.
A polyvalent person, capable of working with graphic design on videogames, creation of 2D and 3D graphics (lowpoly and highpoly).
Technical knowledge about graphic design for videogames in order to obtain the best result out of Nintendo DS hardware.
2D: know how to use the different schemes of scroll; ability to manage tiles; ability to manage 8, 16, 32… colour palettes; creation of sprites;…
3D: know how to limit of polygons per frame; distance of visual management; scenario editor; texture management;
Hard team worker.
Ability to work with the following programs: 3dsmax, Photoshop and Promotion or similar (programs for sprites animation).

Creation of graphics for videogames, under the supervision of the Lead Artist, taking on dead-lines and objectives.

Knowledge on animation.
To be keen on videogames.
English skills.
