Fritz Chess for next-generation consoles is much more than the champion chess program that has defeated the great world champions. After acquiring many victories and international awards, Fritz will celebrate its premiere in next-generation consoles with a multitude of fantastic opponents with whom the whole family can enjoy in Adventure Mode.

In addition to the possibility of playing historic games, testing your mind and reflexes with Puzzles, or having Fritz as a guide, Fritz Chess incorporates an Adventure Mode. The player will be immersed in a fantastic medieval world, ruled by the Black King and White Queen, and riddled with opponents that one must beat. Each of these characters has its own style of play, and thus challenge you to exciting Blitz games, Chess 960 matches or even make you play at a disadvantage!

We present exclusively some of these outlandish inhabitants of the world of Fritz Chess:

TROOPER

Even though the Castle Guard calls himself a master, his laziness and total lack of interest make him a mediocre player. Since he is in a hurry, the player will play a Blitz game with him. The Blitz games are quick games in which time is against player. Speed and ingenuity are key to defeating him!

BRUTE

The Brute, Captain of the Castle Guard is not known for his mental abilities. It's easy to deceive and confuse him. In fact, he poorly places the chess pieces on the board. Without realizing it, he has created an opening position of Chess 960, a mode in which the game is played with the pieces scrambled. Assess the situation to make the best moves to defeat him!

COURT JESTER

Frantic, crazy, nervous, hysterical, looney… All these adjectives describe to perfection the personality of the Court Jester. But because of his instability and crazy ideas, he is an unpredictable chess opponent. For Jester, rules and norms have no importance. So he’ll challenge any player to play Giveaway chess with him, in which the goal is to force the rival to capture all your pieces

KINGDOM HERO

Admired by women and envied by men, the invincible hero of the Kingdom is the biggest defender of virtue and beauty… especially if the beauty to which we refer to is his! The Hero's aggressive game almost leaves the player without pieces and in a real bind. Player must avoid mate during some moves or force stalemate to defeat him.

BLACK KNIGHT

The Black Knight is the highest ranking soldier in the entire Kingdom. He has fought in countless battles and his style of play is heavily influenced by his war experience. The Blitz Giveaway is the kind of game that fascinates the Knight, as he recalls the sacrifices that must be made on the battlefield: Quick, deadly and without turning back.
